Dr. David Templeton has an extensive background both in experience and education. He studied Civil Engineering and worked for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers before attending Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. After graduating as a Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1979, Dr. Templeton and his wife Annette established a dental practice in Scott County Virginia.
Dr. Templeton is an associate professor of General Dentistry and enjoys teaching third and fourth year students at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. He also volunteers his time and talents at the Wise and Grundy Missions of Mercy where dental work is provided free of charge to patients in need.
Dr. Templeton’s top concern is for patients and their families. His staff works tirelessly to ensure that his office is always accessible to his patients and that they receive the most compassionate and technologically advanced care in the region.
In his spare time, Dr. Templeton enjoys reading and spending time working on his farm.
